Charities from Our 2022 Outing
22 Mohawks- Sadly, on average, 22 veterans take their own life each day. To us, 22 Mohawks represents the outlier - the person who is not afraid to go against the grain, rise up for what they believe in, and above all, stand tall in the face of adversity. Veterans and those who support them embody the Mohawk. 22 Mohawks is proud to provide assistance to veterans who need help with navigating the struggles of everyday life when they return home from duty.
Hugs for Mito- Since being founded in 2017, Hugs for Mito have been working hard with doctors, members, and volunteers to help Mitochondrial Disease and Rare Disease patients worldwide by funding and delivering charitable services.
LARKIN MOTORS FOUNDATION- Larkin Motors is a small auto performance shop in West Bridgewater with the goal of helping veterans in need across Massachusetts. They would find a veteran in need of auto repairs and do it free of charge. After finding success with this small program, Larkin Motors began thinking of ways to help more veterans. A foundation was created allowing them to begin fundraising.
THE MEGHAN HOUSE FOUNDATION- Megan's House is a residential treatment home for young women ages 18-25 located in Lowell. The building, formerly a school, was renovated in 2015 to provide treatment for up to 26 young women struggling with a substance abuse disorder. Their mission is to improve the quality of life of its residents through an evidence based substance abuse treatment program that emphasizes individual dignity, self respect and empowerment.
