PHCC of MA is the Massachusetts chapter of the oldest trade association in the construction industry - Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors, established in 1883. We represent the interests of Massachusetts' plumbing, heating and cooling contractors.
We are proactive representatives of our membership including legislative initiatives, continuing education, training, and business networking.

New Pipefitter Licenses Created - The Department of Public Safety has adopted new regulations that create several pipefitter licenses categories. Licensed plumbers are among those who may be grandfathered. See the details
Major Legislative Victories 1.) Law passed directing traditional grandfather provisions for new “process piping” license. Click her for additional information.

Board of Examiners may vote at their August 27th meeting on changes to Plumbing and Gas Code. Hearings have been held and a draft submitted to the Board for their review.

PHCC of MA becomes a State Board approved provider of inspector continuing education: Recent changes by the Board will offer inspectors an option to earn 4 of the required 12 hours by attending an approved class hosted at an association dinner meeting. Approved providers will teach four (4) one-hour sessions of a Board approved/created curriculum.
