Legislative Day 2023
A Message from Our Executive Director
PHCC of Massachusetts is joining forces with other concerned industry associates for a day at the Massachusetts State House on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
This is a great opportunity for you, as PHCC members to visit legislators in your voting district and help advocate for our industry.
Some of the topics we hope to discuss are:
- The importance of maintaining the Massachusetts Plumbing Code (248 CMR)
- Supporting the Plumbing Board & the Division of Occupational licensure
- Concerns regarding the current “Gas Ban” legislation
Our group of industry associates has secured a room in the State House for the day where we anticipate everyone getting together as a group in the morning and hearing from a few speakers,
We are also planning to set up meetings with our Senators and Representatives. That’s where you come in. Please consider joining us for the day and help support the industry by making your individual voice heard directly to legislators in your voting district.
If you wish to join us, please let me know if we can count on you. All we need from you right now is your full name and home address. This will allow us to set up meetings during that day as it is very important to have you see politicians who rely on you and others in your district for support.
This may be our best opportunity to show support for our industry at a time when so many changes are taking place.
